Welcome

The centre is run as a charity by committee, for the benefit of Uppertown and surrounding villages. The committee aims to maintain the building and facilities and keep them available to all.

There is a brief history of the building which was originally a primary school where the centre has stood for over 140 years. 

The events section is where you will find a list of what we have got planned in the near future for our guests and you will be able to buy tickets online and the past events shows some of the entertainment we have previously enjoyed at Uppertown.

On our contact/find us page you will find information about our committee and how to make contact with us if for instance you have looked at the hire page and decided that you want to use Uppertown Social Centre for your private function. It also includes a map of how to find the centre.
